+ Staff was very friendly and helpful! My credit card couldn't be processed for the deposit. Nevertheless, they reserved the room for me after I called and I didn't have to pay the deposit. + Loved the fact that they have very diverse staff, which made me (as a person of color) feel very welcome. + Room was of a decent size + Room was clean, and tidied by the staff each day + Sheets, pillows and towels were soft, fresh and clean each day. Housekeeping paid a lot of attention to detail while making up the bed. + Enough space to store my belongings + Fridge to keep things cooled + Heating was present and could be adjusted to your liking + Bathroom was spacious, clean and neat + Great size mirror & sink + hairdryer available + Large mirror on the door (great to check your outfits) + Option to make free tea and coffee each day + Location is great: 5 min. walk from public transportation in every direction of the city (tram)

It was the staff that made this stay so enjoyable. Amsterdam is made up of tall, skinny buildings, so to those who have left reviews complaining about the size of the lift, or the steepness of the stairs, or the size of the rooms, welcome to Amsterdam! So yes, the lift is small, the stairs are steep and the room is quite small, but the friendliness and eagerness of the staff, the good design in the rooms and the cleanliness and comfort all make these factors pale into insignificance. Amsterdam is not cheap, but this hotel is ideally placed for the centre, the Rijksmuseum, all the tourist attractions, whilst also being in a quiet part of town away from the noise and bustle of the centre. The staff were so kind and helpful, seriously 10/10 guys, well done and thank you. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this hotel.

Reception let us check in early and upgraded both rooms on arrival which was a blessing. A small double which was perfect for one and a double which had a lot more space for two people. Rooms were next to each other and on the first floor, I recommend putting in a request for both if traveling as a group, as the stairs are extremely steep and narrow. The hotel does also have a small lift. Staff are really friendly, rooms are clean with a hair drier, safe and you can buy water at reception. luggage can be stored at reception. Surprisingly quiet although on busy main road, earplugs a nice touch. Recommend a breakfast place round the back called Teds.

Small, but clean room with modern bathroom and aircon unit. Quiet location so good night sleep guaranteed. Very steep and narrow steps (like everywhere else in Amsterdam), but has a tiny mini lift which is an amusment on its own . Nice staff in reception, you can leave the luggage before/after checknin/checkout. Located around 35 minutes walk from the Central station and 30 from Dam square, but plenty bars, cafes and shops on the way so feels like you are in the centre of it.

It was absolutely worth booking a canal view room! Rooms are cosy and compact but we found it perfectly fine for 2. Everything was clean, coffee machine and mini fridge were perfect. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location if you want to be central ish and walkable to the busy areas, but staying far enough away from it being hectic. Absolutely would stay here again. The "slowest" (also, smallest?!) "lift " in Amsterdam was also a novelty in itself!!!
